Swimming is a great exercise and fun activity. People of all ages and groups indulge in swimming. People swim in pools, ponds, private pools or pools used in clubs etc. These days people even have private pools in their villas and apartments. Still the use of common or public pools for swimming is very common because not everyone can afford setting up a private swimming pool. Swimming is a great fun activity for body soul and mind. It refreshes a person and even makes a person healthy. With all these benefits it’s very important that few healthy habits are maintained while swimming, especially while using common swimming pool. Public or common swimming pools are used by a lot of people so there must be etiquette of using it. One should not get into the pool with dirty hands and legs. It’s very important to have a shower before entering the pool. For hygienic reasons staying clean before swimming is very important. Next is one should not enter a swimming pool if he she is suffering from any infectious skin disease should not enter a common swimming pool. Dirtying the swimming pool in any manner is strictly prohibited. One should make sure that the swimming pool water is cleaned and changed on regular intervals. There should not be growth of any kind of weeds and plants. The pool should be disinfected properly. The people going for swimming in the common pools should maintain healthy swimming habits and should encourage the same. It should be made sure that the fun activity of swimming should be healthy as well. One should not to swim at places which are not well maintained. These swimming pools can actually give the users infections on skin and eyes. Swimming is a sport for the body so it should be practiced in a healthy manner.
